Five years ago, I hit a wall.
I’d been a practicing nutritionist for over a decade. I knew the science. I knew the routines.
But suddenly, nothing made sense.
I hadn’t changed how I was eating or living—but I was exhausted all the time. My body ached. I couldn’t sleep. I had waves of anxiety that sometimes turned into panic attacks. My heart would race for no reason. My jaw would lock so badly I couldn’t even chew.
And no one could tell me why.
I went to the orthopedist for the pain, the cardiologist for my heart, the neurologist for the anxiety.
Each one looked at a part of me—but no one looked at me as a whole.
No one said, “This might be perimenopause.”
What I needed most wasn’t a new prescription—it was to be seen, heard, and understood.
To be told that what I was feeling wasn’t all in my head, or something to “power through,” but part of a very real, very natural transition.
That experience changed everything—not only in my body, but in my work.
I realized that even after 12 years in the nutrition field, I hadn’t been taught how to care for women in this phase of life.
So I began again. Not from scratch, but from experience.
From empathy. From lived understanding.
I now offer the kind of support I desperately needed: care that sees the whole person, honors the body’s wisdom, and walks gently with women through this powerful, sacred transformation.
