In 2004, my life took an unexpected turn. My kids were 5 and 3, and I found myself with 20 extra kilograms since their birth. Determined to shed the weight without resorting to diets or calorie counting, I embarked on a personal mission. Standing at just 5 feet tall, I knew I needed a lasting change, not a quick fix.
I began exploring all aspects of wellness, including nutrition. I devoured nutrition and diet courses, eagerly absorbing any resource I could find. Exercise fascinated me, and I decided to become a certified fitness trainer. Over the next 4 years, I gradually shed those 20 kilos. It wasn’t a race; it was a journey of learning and application.
By the time I reached my goal weight, I was in the best shape of my life—stronger, leaner, and brimming with stamina. But I didn’t stop there. I formalized my knowledge by earning a diploma in nutrition and becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Along the way, I explored mindfulness, stress reduction, and holistic wellbeing. These tools became practical gems for my clients.
As I approached my fifties, my body underwent rapid changes. Perimenopause knocked on my door, and I welcomed it with curiosity. Deep diving into menopause and hormone balance, I pursued certification as a Functional Hormone Educator. Most women lacked awareness about this life stage, so I made it my mission to guide them through a seamless transition.
As a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Health Coach, I have dedicated my career to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve optimal health. My expertise is further enhanced by my specialization as a Certified Functional Hormone Educator, which allows me to address complex hormonal issues with a nuanced understanding. With over 12 years of experience in the field, I have had the privilege of working with women across more than seven countries, helping them navigate their health journeys with confidence and informed choices.
